We are seeking candidates to join the team as a Legal Assistant.
The firm handles bankruptcy, personal injury, real estate, and other civil litigation matters.
This position is part-time and the hours may be flexible therefore we are looking for someone that is open between 10-20 hours per week. There is potential to be permanently based full-time based on performance. Our office culture is not traditional -- we value the person as a whole and we will train the right person.
The ideal candidate will be: -
Bi-lingual, comfortable interacting with clients.
Active within the community.
Organized, creative, self-driven, and eager to contribute to the team.
Knowledge of Clio, NextChapterBK, PACER preferred (but not required).
Able to travel to Daytona Beach and Winter Park locations.
Adaptable/flexible - Open to taking calls.
Our firm takes calls 24/7, enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction.
Innovative -- prefers working in unconventional ways or on tasks that require creativity.
The office/administrative assistant duties include, but are not limited to:
Blog posts and representing the firm at events.
Scheduling.
Follow-up on cases.
Coordinate office lunches.
Filing and organization.
Scanning, faxing (processing incoming/outgoing), copying, processing incoming mail and preparing outgoing mail.
Client intake and file set-up as needed.
Handle firm runs to the courthouse, bank, post office, Federal Express, etc.
Organizing and maintaining closed files.
Any additional responsibilities as assigned by the Firm Administrator.

Must have a valid Florida driver's license.
